AI context-aware translation

Lingolense uses two translation engines and picks the right one per text layer automatically:

• DeepL — fast, high-quality machine translation. Used for plain UI strings and on all plans.
• AI (context-aware) — a large language model that understands the role of the text (a button label, a headline, body copy) and respects length budgets, so translations fit the UI better. Available on Pro and above.

How the engine is chosen

You don't pick the engine — Lingolense decides per node:

• On Free / Starter, everything goes through DeepL.
• On Pro / Team / Lifetime, context-rich text (headlines, body, buttons with a clear role) is routed to the AI engine, while plain "UI text" stays on DeepL because it's faster and already excellent on short strings.

If the AI engine is momentarily busy, Lingolense automatically falls back to DeepL for the rest of the run so your translation never stalls.
