Batch translation
Translate many text layers at once across a selection or a whole page.
Batch translation lets you translate many text layers in one run — select a frame (or several), pick your target language, and Lingolense works through every text layer it finds.
How to batch translate
- Select a frame, group, or multiple layers — anything containing text.
- Set your From / To languages.
- Click Translate. Lingolense lists the detected layers and translates them one by one, showing progress as it goes.
Each layer is translated and written back in place, preserving its own styling. A translation-memory cache means repeated strings across the batch are only translated once.
Plan note
Batch translation is available on Starter and above. On the Free tier you translate layers individually.
Run summary
After a batch run, Lingolense tells you how many layers were translated and, on plans with the AI engine, how the work split between the AI and DeepL engines. Layers flagged for possible overflow are highlighted so you can check tight boxes.
