Install the plugin
How to install Lingolense in Figma, Pixso, and Penpot.
Lingolense runs in three design tools. The fastest way to install is the Get the plugin button on lingolense.theplugins.co — it links to each store. Per-editor steps are below.
Figma
Lingolense works in Figma Design, FigJam, Slides, and Buzz (FigJam, Slides, and Buzz require a paid plan — see Plans).
- Open the Lingolense listing in the Figma Community (via Get the plugin).
- Click Open in… / Run, or add it from any file via Menu → Plugins → Manage plugins.
- Run it from right-click → Plugins → Lingolense, or the toolbar's plugin menu.
Editors
The free tier covers Figma Design. FigJam, Slides, and Buzz are unlocked on paid tiers.
Pixso
- Open the Lingolense listing in the Pixso plugin store (via Get the plugin).
- Install it, then run it from Pixso's plugin menu.
Pixso is treated as part of the Figma family, so the free tier works here.
Penpot
Penpot loads plugins from a manifest URL.
- Open a file in Penpot and open the Plugin Manager (the plugins icon in the toolbar, or the Penpot menu → Plugins).
- Paste the Lingolense manifest URL (from Get the plugin) and click Install.
- Click the installed Lingolense plugin to run it.
Penpot is also covered by the free tier.
Penpot & HTTPS
Penpot must be able to load the plugin over a secure origin. Use the official
hosted manifest URL. If you're testing a local build, serve it over localhost
or HTTPS — a plain LAN IP (http://192.168.x.x) is blocked as mixed content.
