Do I need an account?

Yes. You sign up on this portal to get a license key. The key is used to activate the plugin and to track usage. You can use a free plan to start.

Where is my license key?

Log in and go to Dashboard → License. Copy the key and paste it into the plugin when it asks for activation.

Does my key change when I upgrade?

No. The same license key is used for free and paid plans. When you upgrade, your limits and features update on the server; you don't need to change anything in the plugin.

How is usage counted?

Usage is the number of characters in the source text you translate (per billing period). See Usage & limits for details.

How do I cancel or change my subscription?

Go to Dashboard → Billing and use the link to the Lemon Squeezy customer portal. There you can update payment methods, cancel, or change plans.

The plugin says my license is invalid

Make sure you've copied the full key from the portal (no extra spaces). If you still see an error, log in to the portal and check that your license is active. If the problem continues, contact support with the email you use for the portal.
